Dušan Vasiljević (born May 7, 1982 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian football player .

Vasiljević played for many years in his youth at the Belgrade club FK Kolubara Lazarevac and at the age of 20 moved to the Montenegrin part of the country to the first division promoted FK Mogren Budva . Despite a successful season for the attacking midfielder, his club was relegated at the end of the season. He then moved in the summer of 2003 to the Serbian first division club FK Radnički Obrenovac . For Obrenovac, who were relegated from the first division this season, Vasiljević only played six league games and then moved abroad to the Hungarian first division club Békéscsabai 1912 Elöre FC . Békéscsabai also rose at the end of the season from the top division of the country, which Dušan Vasiljević completed three seasons in a row with a different club on a relegation zone.

For the 2005/06 season he joined Kaposvári Rákóczi FC, another Hungarian first division club, for whom he completed 57 first division games in two and a half years (11 goals). For the second half of the 2007/08 season, Vasiljević moved to the German Bundesliga club Energie Cottbus for an unknown transfer fee . After Cottbus’s relegation to the Bundesliga in 2009, his contract, which ran until 2011, was terminated prematurely by mutual agreement. At the end of July 2009 Vasiljević was signed by the Czech champions Slavia Prague .
