The FK Radnički Obrenovac (full official name in Serbian : Фудбалски клуб Раднички Обреновац - ФК Раднички Обреновац, Fudbalski klub Radnički Obrenovac - FK Radnički Obrenovac ), usually Radnički Obrenovac , is a Serbian football club from the city of Obrenovac , the metropolitan region of the capital Belgrade belongs . The club, founded in 1927, currently plays in the Srpska liga Beograd , one of the four sections of the Srpska liga , the third-highest division in Serbian football .
The FK Radnički Obrenovac achieved its first significant successes in 2002, when it rose to the first league of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1992-2003). The club remained first class until 2004. Finally, two relegations followed, so that Radnički Obrenovac has been in the Srpska liga Beograd since then .
The club plays its home games in the pored Kolubare stadium with a capacity of 8,000 . When severe flooding and violent storms caused by the Yvette in the Balkans occurred in May 2014 in south-eastern and central-eastern Europe , the situation was particularly critical in Obrenovac . The stadium and the club grounds were flooded and heavily damaged. Since then, both building complexes have been in need of renovation in order to really meet all quality and safety standards for national football events of the top division.
