Nenad Jestrović ( serb. - Cyrillic. : Ненад Јестровић * 9. May 1976 in Obrenovac ) is a former Serbian football player .

career

In his youth Jestrović played for FK Radnički Obrenovac . He began his professional career in the 1994/95 season at OFK Belgrade . He was the top scorer in the 1st Division in the 2004/05 season with 18 goals, most of which he scored with free kicks and penalties. During his time at RSC Anderlecht , Jestrović was injured several times. He was expelled from a UEFA Champions League match for racist comments (November 2005) and was subsequently convicted by his club RSC Anderlecht.

In January 2006 he moved to Al Ain Club in the United Arab Emirates . An interlude at Al-Nasr Sports Club Dubai followed in 2007 before returning to Europe for Red Star Belgrade for the 2007/08 season . In the 2008/09 season he played for the Turkish first division club Kocaelispor and the Ligue 1 club FC Metz . He ended his career in the summer of 2009.
