al-Nasr Sports Club is a sports club from Dubai , United Arab Emirates , founded in 1945. The football department currently plays in the country's highest league, the UAE Arabian Gulf League . The club plays its home games in the al-Maktoum stadium. The footballers are three-time champions and cup winners in the country. From January 2009 to February 2010 Frank Pagelsdorf was the coach of the men's soccer team. Pagelsdorf was already a trainer at al-Nasr in 2004/05 and continued the tradition of German trainers at al-Nasr.
