Career

society

Diané played for the youth teams of FC Mantes and ASEC Abidjan before starting his professional career in 2002 with US Roye . In 34 games he scored 26 goals and thus drew attention to himself. A year later he moved to the then French second division team Stade Reims . After two seasons, the winger signed for Ligue 1 and joined Racing Strasbourg . For a transfer fee of 3 million euros, he exchanged clubs again after a year and signed with Paris SG. In the 2007/08 season he was the capital club's top scorer. Despite this performance, he left the club and signed a four-year contract with al-Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar . Diané stated that the reason for the change was the higher earnings at his new employer. In early 2011 he left al-Rayyan to join league rival al-Gharafa . He then played two seasons in the United Arab Emirates. From July 2013 he was a year without a club before he joined the Belgian second division AFC Tubize in September 2014 . He ended his career there at the beginning of 2015.

National team

On August 18, 2006 Diané was nominated for the first time for the national team of Ivory Coast . Because of an injury, he could not use this opportunity. On September 15 of the same year he was called up for the second time, but was not used in the friendly against Sweden . It was not until March 2007 that he was allowed to represent the colors of his home country on the football field when he was used in the qualifying game for the African Championship against Madagascar . In the 3-0 victory of the Elefanten , he also scored his first goal in the national dress.
