The UAE League Cup is a since 2008 been registered football - cup competition for clubs in the UAE Arabian Gulf League .

format

The current format consists of a group stage of two groups of seven teams each, with each team playing once against their competitors. The two best teams in each group play a semi-finals (the first in one group against the second in the other group). The winners carry out the final.
