Dušan Vujović
Dušan Vujović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Душан Вујовић ; born July 22, 1951 in Požarevac , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian economist and politician (independent). He has been Serbia's finance minister since 2014 .
Life
He studied economics at the University of Belgrade , where he received his doctorate in 1984 . From 1974 he was an assistant at the Institut za međunarodnu politiku i privredu , from 1975 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade, where he was first lecturer from 1985 to 1992, then associate professor. From 1992 he was an employee of the World Bank . He teaches as a full professor at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration of the private Singidunum University in Belgrade .
In the government of Aleksandar Vučić formed in April 2014 , he was initially Minister of Economic Affairs. After the resignation of the previous Finance Minister, Lazar Krstić , Vujović became Finance Minister in July 2014.
