DuMont Television Network was an American television network from the early years of television , founded in 1946 by Allen B. DuMont and discontinued in 1956 after ten years of competition with the American Broadcasting Company (ABC).

In 1946, DuMont Television Network had two channels: WABD in New York City and WTTG in Washington, DC In 1949 , WDTV was added in Pittsburgh .
