Duanele
Duanele (also Balibo Cave ) is a stalactite cave in the East Timorese Suco Balibo ( Balibo administrative office , Bobonaro municipality ), in the northwest of the country. It is the largest cave in the region and can be visited with a guide. The entrance is a large crevice.
Duanele is a quarter of an hour's walk from Fort Balibo . During the Indonesian occupation (1975–1999), it repeatedly served as a refuge for the residents of Balibo.
