Duchang County ( Chinese 都昌县 , Pinyin Dūchāng Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Jiujiang in the southern Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has an area of 1,988 km² and has 739,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Duchang (都 昌镇).
