The circle Pengze ( Chinese 彭泽县 , pinyin Pengze Xiàn ) is a group of prefecture-level city of Jiujiang in the southern Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has an area of 1,541.74 km² and has a population of 350,000. Its main town is Longcheng (龙 城镇).
Pengze County was founded in the sixth year of Emperor Han Gaozu (Chinese: 西漢 高祖 六年), Western Han Dynasty (201 BC).
