Hukou County ( Chinese  湖口县 , Pinyin Húkǒu Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Jiujiang in the southern Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has an area of ​​669 km² and has a population of 276,769 (2006). Its main town is Shuangzhong (双 钟 镇).
