Duels are an English indie rock band from Leeds .
history
Today's band was formed after the group SammyUSA , which some musicians from the current line-up belonged to, disbanded . After the first recordings achieved some respectable success on British radio stations, the first single from the label Transgressive was released on July 18, 2005 with Potential Futures . The title was best known for the soundtrack of the computer game FIFA 2006 , in which it was included.
In May 2005 Duels signed a contract with Nude Records , which released the second single Pressure On You on November 7 of the same year . With Animal , the third track followed on April 10, 2006, the band's debut album The Bright Lights and What I Should Have Learned was released in July. In March 2007 the group announced that they had separated from the previous label, but a second album is still being planned.
