Duke Burrell
Duke Burrell (born July 9, 1920 in New Orleans , † August 5, 1993 in Los Angeles ) was an American jazz pianist , composer , arranger and band leader .
Duke Burrell worked during his career a. a. with Louis Jordan (1973), Johnny Otis and took part in Barney Bigard's last recordings in 1976 . In later years he led his own formations; In 1974/75 Sammy Rimington played in his band Louisiana Shakers . He took part in four recording sessions in the field of jazz from 1973 to 1976,
