Dumbbell Iceland (of English dumbbell , barbell ' ) is a low and rocky island in the Marguerite Bay before Fallières Coast of the West Antarctic Graham Lands . In the group of Terra Firma Islands , it is 1.5 km west of Alamode Island .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out geodetic surveys in 1948 and gave the island its name based on its shape.
