The Dumoulin Islands are an uninhabited group of islands in the Louisiade Archipelago . Politically, they are part of the Milne Bay Province in southeast Papua New Guinea .

The Dumoulin Islands belong to the western foothills of the Louisiade archipelago. They are located 25 km south of Sideia Island and 40 km east of the Brumer Islands . The archipelago consists of four small islands and two minor islands.

The four islands rise from an undersea shelf about 6 km long up to 110 m above sea level. The islands measure only a few hundred meters in diameter. They are hilly, with steep slopes and cliffs, and densely forested. Baiiri, the largest island, is at the western end of the group, the second largest island, Ana Karu Karua, at the eastern end.

In the north of the Dumoulin Islands there is a large area of shoals and reefs , the Siriki Shoals , in the south is a long underwater barrier reef .
