Duravit Design Center

The Duravit Design Center is an exhibition center built by Duravit for its products in Hornberg in 2003/2004 , in which it is also possible to test some products directly on site by prior arrangement. It was designed by Philippe Starck and consists of a five-story, 19-meter-high trapezoidal building with a sculpture of a 7.1-meter-high toilet on the south side at a height of 5 meters , which interested visitors can use as a viewing platform. This sculpture is considered "the largest toilet in the world " and is illuminated at night. The Design Center was also a stop for the “Water is Life” exhibition as the result of an international poster competition.
