Lapp hunt

In the Lappjagd is a blowing or pressing hunting in which the bejagdte area previously with at lines ( Ark ) suspended material flap ( Blend stuff ) spans is to direct thereby escaping animals in certain directions or at the breaking out of the bustle to prevent. Historically, the cloth flaps used were provided with the coat of arms of the hunting master. Today the lap hunt is mainly used to catch wolves for research purposes or relocation.

In Germany, limp hunting is restricted in Section 19 (1) No. 3 of the Federal Hunting Act .

saying

"Go through the rags" in the sense of "escape, escape" is a phrase borrowed from the hunter's language and documented since the 18th century , which refers to the fact that although many actually shy away from the hung rags, some animals time and again Break through the barrier and literally “go through the flaps”.
