Penetration of three cubes

The penetration of three cubes represents a polyhedron , which consists of a suitable combination of three point-symmetrical cubes . The cubes are twisted twice against each other at an angle of 45 ° each (the axes of rotation run through the centers of two parallel squares ).

This polyhedron is used in art, e.g. B. on the lithograph “Wasserfall” by MC Escher .
