Dusty Jonas (actually: Dustin Michael Jonas ; born April 19, 1986 in Floresville , Texas ) is an American high jumper .

The Pan-American junior champion from 2005 qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , but did not get past the qualifying round.

In 2010 he was US runner-up in the hall and won bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Doha .

Dusty Jonas is 1.83 m tall and weighs 71 kg. He is trained by Gary Pepin. Until 2009 he studied horticulture at the University of Nebraska , where he currently works as a volunteer trainer.
