The Dynów Mountains (Polish: Pogórze Dynowskie ) consist of foothills of the Central Beskids in southern Poland in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship . Its highest peak is the Sucha Góra with 585 m. It is named after the town of Dynów , which lies in the east of the mountains.
geography
The mountains are bordered by the Strzyżów Mountains in the west, the Przemyśl Mountains in the east, the Sanocker Plain (part of the Jasło-Krosno Basin ) in the south and the Sandomir Basin in the north . It lies between the Wisłok rivers to the west and the San rivers to the east.

The mountains are divided into several ridges.
Cities
The only major city in the Dynów Mountains is Dynów . The city of Rzeszów can be seen from the northern edge of the mountains . Sanok is located on the southern edge of the mountains .
tourism
Numerous marked hiking and cycling trails run through the mountains.
War cemeteries
At the beginning of the First World War, bitter fighting raged in the mountains between the advancing Russian army and the army of Austria-Hungary. The Battle of the Przemyśl Fortress (part of the Battle of Galicia ) took place near the mountain from 1914 to 1915 .

The mountains are located in the Czarna Rzeka-Strzyżów Landscape Park . There are numerous nature reserves in the park, such as the Prządki nature reserve .
