Dyskinesia
Dyskinesia is a movement disorder. A distinction is made between the following forms according to the affected organ or cause:
- Dyskinesia uterina: anomalies in labor, see labor weakness
- Biliary dyskinesia : malfunction of the biliary tract
- Dyskinesia intermittens angiosclerotica (dysbasia) or abasia , forms of walking disorders, see Determann syndrome
- as side effects of therapy with neuroleptics:
- initial dyskinesia ( early dyskinesia ), usually in the form of tremor, painful spasms in the tongue, throat and eyes.
- tardive dyskinesia and tardive dyskinesia called.
- In the heart, various diseases can cause parts of the heart wall to delay starting to move, see echocardiography .
- Primary ciliary dyskinesia, a movement disorder of the ciliated epithelial cells, see Kartagener's syndrome
