Dzintars Zirnis (born April 25, 1977 in Riga ) is a Latvian football player.

Zirnis played at the beginning of his career for FK Flaminko Jūrmala , Kvadrāts Riga and Pārdaugava . In 1997 the defender moved to Liepājas Metalurgs after a short intermezzo at the Russian club Baltika Kaliningrad . With Metalurgs he won the Latvian Championship in 2005. With this championship Liepājas Metalurgs broke the supremacy of Skonto Riga . Since Latvia regained independence in 1991, Skonto Riga had won all national championship titles up to 2004.

Zirnis made his debut for the Latvian national football team on August 19, 1997 against Azerbaijan . The game ended 0-0. He took part in the European Football Championship in 2004 and had a short stint here - in the game against Germany he was substituted on in the 92nd minute.
