EA80 is the name of a German-speaking punk band from Mönchengladbach, founded in 1979 and since then permanently active .

EA80 publications are self-distributed or with the help of friends. There is no merchandise, no official promotional material and only a few interviews since the early 1990s. The refusal to accept the usual marketing mechanisms is also evident in the official website, which only shows the band name on a black background in white letters.

All band members are also active in other bands. For example, in The Devil in Miss Jones , Serene Fall , Troops of the sun , Killer / Killerlady , Panikraum (with members of Die Strafe ) or in projects like Die Böse Hand (with musicians from the Boxhamsters ), or Pechsaftha (with the meanwhile deceased author Martin Büsser , as well as members of Klotzs and grafzahl)
