EA Tiburon is a video game development studio owned by Electronic Arts based in Maitland , Florida . It is north of downtown Orlando . EA Tiburon was founded in 1994 under the name Tiburon Entertainment and was acquired by EA in 1998.

The studio became famous for the development of the Madden NFL video game series . Among other things, they are also responsible for the development of NBA Live and Tiger Woods PGA Tour (until 2013) and PGA Tour (from 2014).
