EDIFICE
EDIFICE ( The Global Network for B2B integration in High Tech Industries ) is a European industrial consortium for B2B - standards with a focus on the high-tech industry based in Geneva .
The association supports the development and dissemination of electronic standards, gives recommendations for their implementation and serves as a forum for the exchange of knowledge. The association also acts as a European user group for EDIFACT and RosettaNet . The association founded in 1986 in Geneva is a non-profit organization .
Members are semiconductor, electronics, software and telecommunications companies as well as other standardization organizations based in Europe.
The implementation guidelines define subsets of the EDIFACT standard and can be accessed free of charge via the EDIFICE repository. Other EDIFACT subsets are for example: EDIKEY , EDIFURN , EANCOM .
