EE Times is an American online publication for the electronics industry .

EE Times was founded in 1972 as a weekly trade journal for electronics OEMs by Gerard Leeds of CMP Publications Inc. In 1996 the publisher changed its name to CMP Media Inc. and went public in 1997. With the sale of CPM in 1999, the EE Times was transferred to United News & Media , which later became UBM plc .

At the end of 2012, the print edition of the EE Times was discontinued before the print magazine "EE Times Europe" appeared for the European market in November 2018. Since then, AspenCore's European branch (AspenCore Media GmbH) has published eight issues per year.

The EE Times has been published by AspenCore , which belongs to Arrow Electronics, since 2016 .
