Their projects are funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe and the Federal Cultural Foundation. The concept Theater of concern based on the lesson model of Bertolt Brecht and has to position the target is based on discourses of current events by means of theatrical work and accompanying panel discussions politically.

Projects

Initially, the KRIS € NFEST project was initiated with a focus on theater, political discussions and concerts, for which guests from the cultural sector and political activists from Europe were invited.

For another series of events, EUROPEAN DEPESCHEN I-IV , selected theater producers, who are distinguished by their particular political or social commitment, regularly invite actors and scholars from Europe as well as the audience to take part in the discourse. Similar to the drawing of the lottery numbers , the discussants are given numbered balls that each refer to a list of quotes, questions and key words. The discussants then have three minutes to comment on the respective topic. The audience then has the opportunity to write down questions and thoughts on cards, which the discussants then have to answer.
