Joachim Fiebach

Joachim Fiebach (born June 8, 1934 in Berlin ) is a German theater scholar.

He is honorary professor for theater studies at the Free University of Berlin and was professor for theory and history of theater at the Humboldt University in Berlin until 1999. He researches mainly on the performing cultures of the 20th century in Europe and Africa. As a visiting professor, he taught in Tanzania, Nigeria, USA, Canada and Austria. Fiebach is a founding member of the EGfKA .
