EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup 2016

Twelve handball club teams that had qualified for the competition in their home leagues in the previous season took part in the EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup 2016 . The EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup has been held for the third time since 2014. The cup took place in Gran Canaria between November 3rd and 6th, 2016 .

Group stage: There are two groups. In each group everyone plays a first or second leg against each other. The first four of each group qualify for the quarter finals. The last two teams in the two groups play in the 9-12 placement round.

Placement games 9–12: The last two in the group stage play against each other for 11th place. The second last play for 9th place.

Quarter-finals: The quarter-finals are played in a knockout system with one game. The winner of each game will advance to the semi-finals.

Placement games 5–8: The last two placed in the quarter-finals play against each other for 7th place. The second last play for 5th place.

Semi-finals: The semi-finals are played in a knockout system with one game. The winner of each game goes to the final and the loser to the game for third place.

Game for 3rd place: The game for 3rd place is played in the knockout system with one game. The winner of the lot is third.

Final: The final is played in a knockout system with one game. The winner of each game of the party is the winner of the EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup 2016.
