The Czech company EP Energy as is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energetický a Průmyslový Holding . The company, which was founded on January 5, 2011, is based in Prague ( Czech Republic ) and employs around 4400 people, who achieved a turnover of 4.1065 billion CZK in 2012. This means an increase in sales of 23 percent compared to 2011. With a power plant output of 1054 MWe and 4716 MWt , EP Energy is the largest heat producer and second largest energy supplier in the Czech Republic.
