The EQS Group AG is a provider of software and services in the field of Regulatory Technology (RegTech). The company focuses primarily on the investor relations and compliance sectors . To this end, the company develops cloud-based software solutions such as the “EQS Cockpit”, which companies can use to meet regulatory requirements and simplify work processes.

The EQS Group divides the operative business into the segments “Corporate Compliance” and “Investor Relations”.
Corporate compliance
The Corporate Compliance segment comprises all products required to fulfill a legal or regulatory obligation. This includes the fulfillment of transparency guidelines and reporting obligations to the capital market, authorities and registers, as well as the management of insider lists . The company also operates an anonymous whistleblower system (EQS Integrity Line) with which companies ensure increasing regulatory requirements to protect whistleblowers.
Investor Relations
The Investor Relations segment includes products in the area of financial and corporate communications, such as the distribution of company news, the creation of investor relations websites and the transmission of investor relations conferences as webcasts.
history
The EQS Group was founded in 2000 by Achim Weick under the name EquityStory AG. In 2005, the company took over the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ad-hoc-Publizität mbH (DGAP), making it the market leader for reporting obligations for listed companies in Germany. In the following years, the company began expanding abroad, including through takeovers. Today the EQS Group has branches in Germany, USA, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Russia, India and Asia.
The company also operates the financial.de stock exchange portal . EQS shares have been listed in the Entry Standard and m: access since June 2006 . After the entry standard was discontinued, the share switched to the new Scale segment.
