The foundation invites visual artists to examine social issues with a scientific background in an interdisciplinary manner from an artistic perspective. The works of art are exhibited in our own rooms in Munich- Schwabing or at partners.

The exhibitions are accompanied by a Symposium- or presentation program (partly moderated by the Head of knowledge of the SZ , Patrick Illingerstraße ) and published. Previous topics were scarcity of raw materials, increasing urbanization and biodiversity in the Anthropocene . As part of the Perspektiven program , works by Wolfgang Tillmans and Mark Dion , among others, were shown.
