history

The ETO Park in Győr, a city in western Hungary , was built in 2008. Previously, the local club, Győri ETO FC , played its home games in the Rába ETO Stadium . The Rába ETO Stadium temporarily offered space for 28,000 spectators, with the last capacity only being 12,000. As the stadium, built in 1977, was completely out of date and there were also safety deficiencies, it was closed in 2005 and a new stadium was built in Győr. This stadium has a capacity of 16,000 spectators. Győri ETO FC has been playing its home games in the ETO Park since 2008. ETO has been three times Hungarian champion and four times cup winners of the country . In addition to the soccer field, the ETO Park in Győr also houses a modern shopping center, cinema center, three restaurants, a soccer school, a sauna, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness studio and two small indoor courts with artificial turf.
