EVGA is a computer hardware distributor specializing in the production and development of Nvidia graphics cards . In addition to graphics cards, motherboards for Intel computers are also produced. Until the third quarter of 2008, EVGA only used chipsets from the manufacturer Nvidia . With the introduction of the Intel Core i7 series, EVGA also has a mainboard based on the X58 chipset from Intel in its range. EVGA has been building motherboards exclusively with Intel chipsets since 2013. The range also includes thermal paste and, since 2011, various PCoIP products. EVGA has also been selling its own power supply series since 2012.

EVGA was founded in July 1999 and is headquartered in Brea , California , USA .

EVGA also sells graphics cards that are operated at a higher clock rate than the standard specifications of the chip manufacturer (overclocked at the factory) and with their own designs.

The special thing about the graphics cards from EVGA is that the guarantee of 3 years can be extended to 5 or 10 years for an additional charge of 8 € to 50 €. It also includes user-side changes such as B. replacing the pre-assembled cooler and overclocking . For this reason, EVGA graphics cards are very popular with overclockers .
