EZ run

The EZ-Lauf (full name Eßlinger Zeitung run for the Sport-Flöss-Cup, until 2009 EZ-City-Lauf ) is a fun run in Esslingen am Neckar that has been taking place since 1999. The event, organized by the Eßlinger Zeitung and TSG Esslingen , is the largest popular sports event in the Esslingen district .

The main run has been over 10 km since 2003 (previously over approx. 8.5 km) and runs on a 2.5 km lap course through the city center of Esslingen, measured with the Jones Counter according to the guidelines of the DLV . The program also includes children's and school runs. Because of the cobblestone passages, the course is considered demanding.

The EZ-Lauf is a member of the German Road Races .
