The Eagle Lake ( English for " Eagle -See") is a lake in Kenora District in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario .
The 275 km² Eagle Lake is west of Dryden . It has a maximum depth of 34 m. The lake is drained from the Eagle River north to the Wabigoon River . The following types of fish are caught in the lake: eyeglass , Canadian pikeperch , largemouth bass , black bass , pike , muscle lung , American perch , sunfish and American char . The catch of the sea sturgeon is prohibited all year round.
