Earres Prince
Earres Martin Prince (born September 26, 1896 in Jackson (Missouri) , † April 23, 1957 in New York City ) was an American jazz pianist .
Earres played from the mid-1920s a. a. with the Cotton Club Orchestra, The Missourians , with Cab Calloway (1930/31), Jean Calloway , Harry Dial (1946) and Lawrence Lucie ; he also worked on recordings by Edith Wilson and Sara Martin . In the field of jazz he was involved in 20 recording sessions from 1925 to 1947, also with The Four Buddies ("It Could Have Been Me"). He also wrote titles like How Blind Can You Be (with Clyde L. Otis) and Swinging the Swing (with Charlie Stamps), which he recorded with Harry Cooper .
