Upton
Christopher Upton (born April 5, 1978 in Pontypool ) is a British computer scientist .
After earning a PhD in computer science from the University of Cambridge , Upton worked in the computer industry. He is the founder and commercial director of the foundation that developed and sells the Raspberry Pi single-board computer .
For his services he was awarded the TR35 Young Talent Award and the silver medal of the Royal Academy of Engineering . For 2020, Upton was awarded the IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Electronics Award .
