TR35

TR35 is the annual young talent award of the Technology Review , the German edition of the MIT Technology Review. With him, the innovation magazine honors researchers, developers and company founders under 35 " whose ideas will change our lives ".

A specific project is honored, not the previous lifetime achievement. The application is only possible with an expert recommendation. Candidates can come from all technical and scientific fields. A high-ranking jury selects the winners. The winners are also nominated for the global list of the TR35, the 35 best innovators under 35, published by the US MIT Technology Review.

history

The list of the best German-speaking innovators under 35 has been created since 2013. The international list has existed since 1999, initially as TR100, then from 2005 as TR35. The winners include Larry Page and Sergey Brin (founders of Google), Linus Torvalds (developer of Linux ), Jonathan Ive (designer of the iMac , later the iPod and iPad ) and Mark Zuckerberg ( Facebook ). There are other TR35s in Italy, Spain, France and numerous countries in South America.
