Ebenezer Quartey

Ebenezer Quartey ( Ebenezer Quaye Quartey; born August 25, 1934 ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1962 he failed at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth over 440 yards in advance and won bronze with the Ghanaian 4-by-440-yard relay.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he reached the quarter-finals over 400 m , in which he set his personal best with 47.06 s, and retired in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the first round.
