Eberhard Heider

Eberhard Heider (born December 4, 1876 in Rainfeld , † February 14, 1943 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and a locksmith's assistant. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

After the four-class elementary school, Heider completed courses and learned the trade of a locksmith. From 1897 he did his military service and then worked as a locksmith in the locomotive workshop of the Northern Railway. There he was also involved as the main shop steward. Heider was a delegate of the professional accident insurance institution of the Austrian railways, a committee member of the pension institute of the Austrian state railways and a central committee member of the social democratic railway workers' union. He was also active in local politics as a district councilor in Vienna- Floridsdorf . He represented the Social Democratic Workers' Party from May 20, 1919 to May 11, 1921 in the Lower Austrian Landtag, from November 10, 1920, when Vienna separated from Lower Austria, he was a member of the Vienna Curia and from December 30, 1920 he was a delegate from Vienna.
