Eberhard Lehnert (* 1956 ) is a German politician from the DVU .

Career

Until November 1997 he was a member of the CDU . He was then a member of the Republicans party and then joined the DVU. Lehnert belonged to the Zappendorf municipal council and was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in 1998 . However, he did not accept this mandate. In his justification, he stated health problems and also said “In addition, I can no longer withstand the increasing pressure from my environment”, because he learned from the media what “people they are with whom I should work in the state parliament” and he does not want to be "lumped together with these people".
