Eberhard Tangl

Eberhard Tangl (born June 3, 1897 in Marburg , † March 10, 1979 in Hamburg ) was a German Slavist .

Life

After graduating as Dr. phil. at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin in 1929 he was lecturer for Slavic Philology from 1948 to 1951, from 1951 to 1954 adjunct professor for Slavic philology and from 1954 to 1965 extraordinary university professor for Slavic linguistics in Hamburg .
