The Echinostomida are an order of flukes . The tail larvae ( cercaria ) have a forked tail, the eyelash larvae ( miracidia ) have two protonephridia . The most important representative is the great liver fluke .
The order is divided into three sub-categories:
- Cyclocoelata ,
- Echinostomata and
- Paramphistomata .
