Eckhard Block

Eckhard Block (born August 14, 1950 in Minden ) is a German journalist and publisher.

Family and professional career

Eckhard Block was born in Minden in 1950. At the age of six he moved with his parents to Hamburg and completed his school education there. After graduating, he began his professional career as a freelance journalist and author.

In the 1990s he founded the media and tourism agency Block International . From 2009 to August 2012 he was editor-in-chief of the PRANGER information and communication internet platform . The derPRANGER editorial team posted articles there about citizens with negative experiences with the state, with institutions, with companies and with people that could be commented on by anyone. The platform was discontinued in August 2012.

Activity as an author and publisher

In 1985 he founded Block International Publishing as a self-publisher, and in 1991 it was entered in the Hamburg Commercial Register under HRA 85662. The focus is on tourism , marketing, deep medical relaxation and popular science. He became known in the tourism industry through his three specialist books "Professional Travel Guide", "Tourism Marketing" and "Survival". His book "Made from stardust" explains the development of our planet with all its living beings and civilizations. With his work "KM Kinemantra Meditation" he became famous in the field of deep medical relaxation . Block published many other books, both in print and as e-books.
