Spirano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5736 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . Spirano is located about 13 kilometers south of the provincial capital Bergamo . After Milan is approximately 40 kilometers to the southwest.

The baroque church dedicated to Saints Gervasius and Protasius stands on foundations from the 13th century.
