Albino is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 17,800 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region .

The neighboring municipalities are Aviatico , Borgo di Terzo , Casazza , Cenate Sopra , Cene , Gaverina Terme , Gazzaniga , Luzzana , Nembro , Pradalunga , Selvino , Trescore Balneario and Vigano San Martino .
Attractions
- Parish Church of San Giuliano, founded in 898. The bell tower, built in 1497, was designed by Cosimo Fanzago.
- San Bartolomeo Monastery, built in the 12th century in the Lombard-Gothic style. It contains frescoes from a renovation in the 16th century.

traffic
Albino is on the SS 671 road through the Serio Valley. It is connected to Bergamo by the Bergamo – Albino light rail . It is the starting point of the Albino – Selvino cable car to the higher-lying neighboring towns of Selvino and Aviatico .
