Zandobbio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2738 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The municipality is located on the left bank of the Cherio in Val Cavallina about 17 kilometers from the provincial capital Bergamo . The church, which is dedicated to St. George as the namesake, is of particular architectural importance. The oldest parts of the structure date from the 10th and 11th centuries.
