Telgate is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5081 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . It is located on the Serenissima (A4) from Milan to Venice on the extreme eastern edge of the province of Bergamo and borders the province of Brescia . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers southeast of Bergamo and a little over 60 kilometers southeast of Milan. The nearest train station is to the north in Grumello del Monte on the railway line from Brescia to Bergamo.
